Repairs

These instructions are for minor repairs.

For larger repairs or internal repairs please contact a recommended manufacturer / repairer.

If you need a repair it is normally because there has been too much weight on the castle.

Insist that 12ft * 14ft castles are only used by under 11's and 6 children at a time. Also let the customers know that they will be charged for any damage, this may deter adults from using the unit themselves!

Using the glue:

The glue provided is designed specifically for this use
The procedure to adhere a patch is as follows:

:: Unit must be deflated
:: Cut the patch ensuring all corners are rounded
:: Clean the area from grease, dust etc.
:: Apply glue to patch and damaged area
:: Leave fro ten minutes until glue is tacky
:: Place a piece of paper on top of the now adhered patch and then a large rag or towel on top of the repaired are with a heavy weight on top of this.
:: This ensures all areas of the patch will bound.

Using the thread

The thread is no8 and designed for this material
You will need:

A Large needle from a standard pack
Pliers or grips

When the unit is deflated pinch the wound together to form a lip
Weave the needle and thread around in a circular fashion over and under., using the grips to force through the fabric of either lip to hold it together.

Come backwards with the needle to lock.

Maintenance

To ensure years of earning and safe hiring , simple maintenance procedures will help prolong the life of your inflatable.
Be sure not to allow your unit to be used by adults . This will weaken and break stitching. The stitching and fabrics have been tested to take specific weights per square meter and any manufacturer will know if a unit has been abused by adults or overcrowding and thus void any guarantee work.

Safe amount of users per unit.

12ft x 14ft no more than 6 children under 11 years no taller than the walls,
at any one time.

15ft x 15ft no more than 8 children under 15 years of age no taller than the walls,
at any one time.

20ft x 20ft no more than 12 children (of similar age group) but under 15 years old, at any one time.

If you are unsure of the number of users on different units , call manufacturer.

We advise all inflatables should be looked at by a knowledgeable party,
i.e manufacturer or repairer , once every 14 months.

Obstacle course
2 users at any one time in one direction only. Under 15 years.

Slides
On larger slides we advise an operator at the platform to prevent users jumping down and horseplay. And an operator at the bottom.

Storing
Before packing away your unit ensure it is dry thoroughly to prevent stitching rot.
If at times stitching becomes broken refer to your minor repair sheet to put right.

Anchor point
Check the anchor points are secure regularly
Zips , outlet points , check firmly secure before inflation.
Electric blowers should be checked by an qualified appliance testing electrician annually.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

ALL INFLATABLES MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY AJL HAVE A WARRANTY TO PURCHASERS WHO WISH TO RE-SELL THE INFLATABLE TO ANY BUSINESS THAT IS INVOLVED WITH THE MANUFACTURERS INTENT.

THE LIMITED MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY IS APPLICABLE AGAINST ANY DEFECT IN THE WORKMANSHIP OF THE INFLATABLE AND AGAINST MATERIAL DEFECT FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM THE SHIPPING DATE.

ALL UNITS SHOULD BE INFLATED UPON ARRIVAL AND EXAMINED CAREFULLY. ANY DAMAGE INCURRED THROUGH MISHANDLING OF THE CARRIER OR WEATHER RELATED DAMAGE, IS NOT THE LIABILITY OF THE MANUFACTURER. PLEASE REPORT DAMAGE TO YOUR CARRIER. ANY DEFECT FOUND, SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE MANUFACTURER IN WRITING WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE ARRIVAL DATE. FAILURE OF BUYER TO GIVE WRITTEN NOTICE SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE A WAIVER OF A CLAIM FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.

AJL HAS THE RIGHT TO INSPECT THE UNIT AND IF THE DEFECT HAS OCCURRED UNDER THE CONDITIONS LISTED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, SAID MANUFACTURER WILL DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS PRACTICAL TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PARTS AT THE DESIGNATED LOCATION THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS AUTHORIZED.
OUR WARRANTY IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT THE PRODUCT WILL NOT THROUGH USE, HANDLING AND STORAGE DEVELOP TEARS OR PUNCTURES FROM TIME TO TIME, THE REPAIR OF WHICH IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR ACCIDENTAL, ABUSIVE, OR NEGLIGENT TREATMENT OF THE INFLATABLE WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. THE COST OF SHIPPING THE UNITS TO THE LOCATION THAT AJL HAS DESIGNATED FOR EVALUATION WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD, IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. IF THE DEFECTS PROVE TO DEFECTIVE, SAID MANUFACTURER WILL BEAR THE COST OF SHIPPING THE REPAIRED OR REPLACED PRODUCT TO THE BUYER OTHERWISE, ALL SHIPPING COSTS WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

THE SAID MANUFACTURER, BEING AJL INFLATABLES, HAS MADE EVERY POSSIBLE EFFORT TO ILLUSTRATE SIZE AND DIMENSIONS AS IN THE ADVERTISING. ALL SIZES ARE BASED ON PRE-ASSEMBLED MEASUREMENTS, AND THEREFORE WILL VARY SLIGHTLY. ALL MEASUREMENTS INCLUDE THE FRONT STEP.

AJL MAKES NO WARRANTY FOR ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS SOLD TO PURCHASER THAT IS MANUFACTURED BY A SECOND OR THIRD PARTY NOR IS AJL LIABLE FOR ANY DEFECT THAT COULD CAUSE LOSS OF USE OR INJURY DUE TO THESE ITEMS.
WE MUST POINT OUT THAT ALL UNITS ARE TESTED THOROUGHLY BEFORE LEAVING OUR PREMISES. SHOULD STITCHING BREAK ON THE BED THIS IS DUE
TO INCORRECT USE OF THE INFLATABLE AND WILL NOT BE COVERED IN THIS GUARANTEE. ABIDE BY THE GUIDELINES FOR THE SIZE OF INFLATABLE AND YOUR UNIT WILL LAST MANY SEASONS. ALL SIZES ARE APPROXIMATE AND
